#6 What makes a good life

 What makes a good life

millennial---a person who was born in the 1980s, 1990s, or early 2000s

Millennials have grown up with the internet and can't imagine a world without it.

hindsight---the ability to understand, after something has happened, why or how it was done and

how it might have been done better

They are ideas that, in hindsight, often seem hair-brained.

persistence---the fact that someone or something persists

Most financial analysts have been surprised by the persistence of the recession.

tenement---a large building divided into apartments, usually in a poor area of a city, or one of the

                      apartments

Rapid development is replacing old neighborhoods and tenements with modern office buildings.

schizophrenia---the state of having qualities or attitudes that are different from each other and do

                                not work well together

Lexington, as a prison and a hospital, was an expression of America's schizophrenia about how

    to treat addiction.

dedicated---believing that an activity or idea is important and giving a lot of energy and time to it

The Boy Scouts organization is dedicated to helping boys become moral and

                        productive adults.

smooth---happening without any sudden changes, interruption, or difficulty

An efficient transport system is vital to the smooth running of a country's economy.
